Some local drivers have feared that a bridge collapse like the one in Washington State this week could happen closer to home. People have been particularly fearful of the aging Black River Bridge that connects Black Rock and Portia on U.S. 63 in Lawrence County.

WASHINGTON, DC (KAIT) – The Consumer Product Safety Commission is recalling over 750 twist ‘n Sort toys due to a choking hazard.
According to the CPSC, Guidecraft Inc., is recalling about 750 Twist ‘n Sort toys because the small pegs on three of the four posts can detach and pose a choking hazard.
No injuries have been reported with this recall.
Consumers should immediately take the recalled toys away from their children and contact Guidecraft to receive a replacement or another product of equal value.
