UPDATE: Police make another arrest in homicide case

SEARCY, AR (KAIT) - The Searcy Police Department have made another arrest in the homicide case of Zachary Mitchell from October.

According to the department, Sherod Shockley, 22, was arrested on capital murder charges from the October 23 homicide.

According to investigators, police found Mitchell dead on the scene at Langley Drive in Searcy. The 24-year-old was found on the floor with a gunshot wound around 8:20; he had been working in the building as janitorial staff. Police did not indicate where Mitchell was shot.

Police say this case is still under investigation.
