The mother of a victim of 1 of 2 convicted murders scheduled for execution on Tuesday says that she wants to witness the event.
1 of the 2 inmates scheduled to die is Karl Roberts, who was convicted of kidnapping, raping and strangling his niece, 12 year old Andria Nichole Brewer.
Rebecca Demauro, Andria's mother, says she should be there and that it was very upsetting when she found out that she wouldn't be allowed in the death chamber.
Under Arkansas law, 6 to 12 citizen witnesses must observe the execution to make sure it is properly carried out.
Five members of the murder victims family will be allowed to watch on closed-circuit television from inside the prison administrative offices.
