Forrest City Street Crimes Unit arrests man on drug charges and bench warrant

FORREST CITY, AR (KAIT) – The Forrest City Police Department says the newly formed Street Crimes unit has arrested a man on drug charges and a bench warrant out of St. Francis County Circuit Court.

According to FCPD, Casey Emmanuel Bailey, 26, was arrested after police found him in possession of approximately 6.7 grams of a green leafy substance which tested positive for marijuana, and approximately 1.3 grams of an off-white rocklike substance which tested positive for cocaine base. The substances were divided and packaged to sell.

Police say they also found Bailey in possession of $545 cash, which was taken as proceeds from illegal drug sale.

Bailey has been charged with two counts of Possession of Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver Near Certain Facilities.

Police Chief E. P. Reynolds would like to commend Officers Ruben Ivey and William Sparkmon of the Street Crimes Unit for their work.
