Wreck kills one in Crittenden County

CRITTENDEN COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - A Hughes man is dead after a one vehicle accident Monday afternoon in Crittenden County.

According to Arkansas State Police, 71-year old Ernest Leslie of Hughes was traveling south on Highway 147 at Newhardt Road when he lost control and his vehicle flipped, ejecting the driver.

Leslie was then taken to The Med in Memphis where he was later pronounced dead.  Police say Leslie was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
