Library holds resume workshops through November

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT)-  The Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library is seeing more and more patrons coming in asking for tips on building a professional resume.  The library is now offering workshops to help.

Thursday was the first day for the "drop-in" class to be held.  Here is a list of other dates and times classes will be held:

  • Thursday, November 10th from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m.
  • Tuesday, November 22nd from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m.
  • Tuesday, November 27th from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m.

Library officials say they have offered resume assistance for a while now.  They say patrons can even email their resume to the library to be reviewed.  The email address to do so is resumereview@libraryinjonesboro.org.

    According to Cave City Police Chief Brian Barnett, a juvenile was arrested Saturday on suspicion of terroristic threatening after the student sent a picture.

    The Ashley County Sheriff's Office says a body found on a creek bank near Hermitage is believed to be that of a missing Crossett woman.
