HEBER SPRINGS, AR  --A Greers Ferry man charged with two misdemeanors after accidentally shooting his son on a hunting trip has pleaded guilty on both counts.

Gary Galloway pleaded guilty to two counts yesterday in court at Heber Springs. His son, 14-year-old Brad Galloway died last month when his father shot him while hunting.

The older Galloway mistook the teenager for a buck on a hillside. Galloway pleaded guilty to charges of endangering the welfare of a child and violating the hunter-orange requirement.

The judge permanently revoked Galloway's Arkansas hunting privileges and fined him 155 dollars for not wearing hunter's orange.

Galloway also must provide safety classes at Cleburne County schools over the next year.
