CRAIGHEAD COUNTY, AR (KAIT) – According to the Craighead County Sheriff's Office, Jonesboro native Joseph Johansen, 69, was the driver killed in Thursday's crash involving a train and a semi.

Jonesboro Police and Fire Dispatch say a train and semi collided on Highway 49 north of Farville curve near the Busch Agri crossing.

Traffic was backed up on Highway 49 as emergency crews worked to cleanup the scene.  The semi's trailer was carrying rice seed from Alvin, TX.

Arkansas State Police found Johansen's body in the cab of the truck.

No one operating the train was injured.

Craighead County Sheriff's Deputy Brian Skinner stated in a news release that the accident is still under investigation.
