JONESBORO, AR - The Business Network Committee of the Jonesboro Regional Chamber of Commerce is moving into the sales phase for Business Expo 2004. As the state's largest business-to-business exposition, more than 280 exhibitors brought their goods and services to the public at one show.
In its fifteenth year, Business Expo will now be a themed event.
"The steering committee chose the Mardi Gras theme to help facilitate a good time among exhibitors and visitors to the Expo," said Chamber Special Events Coordinator Tammy Branyan. "We're encouraging our exhibitors to display the theme with their booth and in handouts they might offer to visitors."
Exhibitors participating in the themed event will be eligible for a best in show award. The winner will receive a free booth for Business Expo 2005.
The public is invited to the Expo on April 21. The event will again be held at the Arkansas State University Convocation Center from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Business Expo is co-sponsored by KAIT.
"Working with KAIT greatly helps publicize the event," said Expo Steering Committee Chair Ryan Moore. "It's a win-win situation for vendors and the expo itself with the volume of publicity."
