Rockefeller to Spend Day in Jonesboro, Craighead County

JONESBORO, AR - Lieutenant Governor Win Rockefeller will spend most of today in Jonesboro and Craighead County.  He will spend much of his day visiting local elementary schools, while also pausing to have lunch with local Rotarians.

Rockefeller will begin his day at 10:15 a.m. at Hillcrest Elementary in Jonesboro, where he will speak to male students about the Boy Scouts.  Rockefeller is past president of the Quapaw Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America, and currently serves on the national board of directors and as an assistant scoutmaster.

An hour later, the Lieutenant Governor heads across town to Central Elementary (Nettleton School District), where he is to read to fourth graders.

At noon, Rockefeller will speak to the Jonesboro Rotary Club at St. Bernards Auditorium, before heading east to Monette for a program at Buffalo Island Central Elementary School.
