Private School Finally Moves In

After four years of not having a home,  Concordia Christian Academy finally is moving into their new building.  The building houses five classrooms equiped with everything from state of the art computers to science equipment.

The school is next to one of its parent churches...Pilgrim Lutheran Church.  And faculty, staff, and church leaders say they will continue the tradition of family even though their kids have moved over to the new building.

Concordia provides classes for kids ages three to thirteen.  Grades go up to seventh.  About thirty children attend the school for this year.  The school was began in 2000 and just moved into their new building Dec 8th.

A small service was held on Sunday afternoon the 29th.  Ministers from Pilgrim as well as Zion Lutheran Church in Waldenburg spoke to the crowd to open up the building.  After a short time in the church, the program was moved over to the school where everyone was treated to a short performance by school children and then a short reception.
