POINSETT COUNTY, AR (KAIT) -  After an investigation into a sexual assault, state police and officers from the Poinsett County Sheriff's Office arrested a man, who was later charged with Rape and two counts of Sexual Indecency with a Child.

On November 29, Arkansas State Police and Det. Ron Martin with the sheriff's office say they arrested Homer Gerald Dutton, 61, following an investigation into the sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl and one of her relatives in 2009.

During interviews by Arkansas State Police in 2009, the girls told police Dutton inappropriately touched them and asked them to show their private parts to him. The girls were interviewed again on November 20th at the sheriff's office to re-affirm that the allegations were true.

Dutton is in the Poinsett County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
