Grand Opening for New ASU Health Facility Set for Today

JONESBORO, AR - A grand opening and open house is set for today at the new health care facility on the Arkansas State University campus. 

A joint venture between St. Bernards Healthcare and ASU, the facility houses three unique clinics for northeast Arkansas residents - First Care Acute Care Center, ASU's Student Health Center and St. Bernards Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation Services.

At 2 p.m., officials of both St. Bernards and ASU will make remarks as a ribbon is cut to mark the grand opening.  Tours will begin immediately afterward, and continue until 4 p.m.

The 14,259 square foot facility was built by Jonesboro contractors B.B. Vance & Sons.
