Highway Commission to Host Public Forum Tonight in Jonesboro

LITTLE ROCK, AR - The first in a series of ten public involvement sessions hosted by the Arkansas State Highway Commission begins tonight in Jonesboro, with a 7 p.m. forum at the Holiday Inn.

The sessions are being held to discuss results of the commission's 2003 Arkansas State Highway Needs Study, more specifically, to discuss study results and solicit public involvement into the highway planning process.

The Highway Commission will host a second forum in Region 8 on February 19 in Batesville, at the University of Arkansas Community College's Independence Hall.
