JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) – The man police say held a Jonesboro Dollar General store up at gun point is being held on a $250,000 bond.

According to Jonesboro Police, Anthony Farley is being charged with aggravated robbery, and theft. A judge set his bond at $250,000.

Farley was arrested Monday by Arkansas State Police after he was pulled over on Highway 63 near Trumann Monday afternoon for a traffic stop.

When police ran his name, the warrant for the robbery came up and he was arrested. A pistol was also found in the car, and police say it is unknown if this is the same weapon used in the Dollar General robbery.

According to the Jonesboro Police Department, on Thursday December 15 Anthony Farley walked into the Dollar General store on South Stadium Blvd., pulled a gun and demanded money from the clerk.

A security photo from the robbery was shown to other police officers and was identified by an officer. The clerk also picked Farley out of a six person lineup as well.

Police say the gun used in the robbery was a BB gun. Farley is due back in a Craighead County courtroom on January 25, 2012.
