Two Hoxie residents arrested on multiple drug charges

HOXIE, AR (KAIT) - Two Hoxie residents are behind bars following a drug bust Wednesday night.

According to Hoxie Police Chief Glen Smith, 26-year-old Nikki Wilkett and 30-year-old Brandon Caery were arrested during a drug bust. Smith told Region 8 News that the Hoxie Police Department and the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office conducted the drug bust that led to several marijuana plants inside the home.

The pair have been arrested for manufacturing marijuana, intent to sell marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
