COPY-Ark. teen burned in bonfire out of hospital

VAN BUREN, Ark. (AP) - A Van Buren teenager who was burned during a bonfire last week has been released from the hospital.

KHOG-TV ( reports that 18-year-old Cole Plunkett was released from the hospital over the weekend.

Family members say he and 18-year-old Austin Gann suffered second- and third-degree burns Dec. 20 at a bonfire at a private residence. Their medical outlooks improved and they were upgraded to good condition in recent days.

KHOG reports Gann remained at a Little Rock medical center in good condition.

Donations are being accepted for both teens at Citizen's Bank in Van Buren.
