About 64,000 car seat adapters being recalled

WASHINGTON, DC (KAIT) – The US Consumer Product Safety Commission is recalling about 64,000 car seat adaptors because of a fall hazard.

According to the CPSC, the Bugaboo Car Seat Adaptor is being recalled because the when the adapter is used with the stroller, the car seat can disconnect from the adopter and fall.

There has been one report of a car seat disconnecting from the adapter and causing minor injuries.

The CPSC recommends consumers immediately stop using the adaptor and contact Bugaboo for a free service kit and decals.
