Jonesboro fire still under investigation, no cause determined

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Fire crews in Jonesboro battled a fire on the west side of town that started around 9 p.m. on Friday night. Officials with the fire marshal's officer were back at the scene Saturday sifting through the damage.

According to the Jonesboro Fire Department, fire investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the fire.

The home was heavily damaged at 2403 Twin Oaks Avenue.

According to Battalion Chief Alan Dunn, dispatch received the call at around 9 p.m. on Friday night. Dunn said the fire was confined to the living room, front portion of the house, along with attic space.

All the occupants of the home were able to escape the house without injury.
