Make-A-Wish Raises More Than $85,000

This year Triple FM Radio once again teamed up with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to put on the sixth annual Have-A-Heart Radiothon.  Proceeds for the event go directly to making a young child's dreams come true.

This year was also extra special due to Danna Johnson being named the Make-A-Wish volunteer of the year.  She becomes the second NEA volunteer to be recognized with this very special honor in the past five years.

This years radiothon exceeded last years total by over twenty thousand dollars.

Make-A-Wish is a national non profit organization that seeks to help grant the dreams of kids with life threatening illnesses.  Kids like like little Autumn.  We met the lively little red head who loves purple during the festivities up at the Triple FM studios.  Autumn's wish was to go to Universal Studios to meet Barney.  That is why they need your help in raising money to grant these wishes.  On average each wish costs about 5 thousand dollars.

If you would like to know how to get involved you can contact Make-A-Wish by calling 800-264-9474
