No charges over death of man found in Arkansas tub with weatherman

LITTLE ROCK, AR (AP) - Prosecutors in central Arkansas say they won't file charges in the death of a 24-year-old man whose body was found next to a sleeping meteorologist in an unfilled hot tub.

Prosecutors said Friday they didn't find criminal behavior led to the death of Dexter Williams last year.

Authorities have said Williams' body was discovered in a hot tub with former TV meteorologist Brett Cummins in September. Cummins has since resigned from Little Rock television station KARK. He was not charged with any wrongdoing.

Cummins' attorney, Mark Hampton, says he's pleased with the decision. Cummins has maintained there wasn't any foul play in Williams' death.

Authorities say a medical examiner ruled that Williams died from asphyxia, or a lack of oxygen. Drugs were also found in his system.
