Two car accident leaves Sharp County woman dead

SHARP COUNTY, AR (KAIT) – A two car accident involving a tractor-trailer leaves one woman dead.

The accident happened around 6:30p Sunday evening, on US Highway 167 just south of Ash Flat.

According to the Arkansas State Police report, Ronald Vanduzer was driving his tractor-trailer when police say he missed a turn and attempted a u-turn. Police say Bobbie Mooney was traveling northbound when she struck the side of Vanduzer's trailer.

Mooney was killed in the accident. According to the report, Mooney was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the accident.

Vanduzer was not injured in the accident. No word yet on if he'll face any charges.
