NEW INFORMATION: Clay County Sheriff Gerald McClung said a storage building was destroyed, a camper was blown over and a home suffered some structural damage. A woman and child were home at the time, but no injuries were being reported.

Some local drivers have feared that a bridge collapse like the one in Washington State this week could happen closer to home. People have been particularly fearful of the aging Black River Bridge that connects Black Rock and Portia on U.S. 63 in Lawrence County.
(KFVS) - The threat of severe weather has passed through Missouri leaving some damage behind.
Some of the more severe damage was in Marston, MO where at least 1 camper was flipped over and a home's roof was ripped off.
Throughout the evening Sunday, several watches and warningswere issued. Damaging winds were the primary concern with this weather system. According to the National Weather Service, the weather system had the potential for tornadoes, torential rainfall and flash flooding.
