Southeast Board of Regents Consider Increasing Student Fees, Room & Board

FEBRUARY 26, 2004 - Posted at 4:05 p.m. CDT

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO - Fees and room & board rates are going up at Southeast Missouri State University.

The Board of Regents today approved increases in fees and room & board rates for the 2004-2005 academic year.

Incidental fees will rise $4 per credit hour to $151.80 for Missouri resident undergraduates.  Fees for non-resident undergraduates and all graduate students will rise the same amount.

The regents say the fees could be reduced if state appropriations to the school are above those of the previous fiscal year.

Web-based course fees will rise $3 per credit hour.  Residence hall room and board rates are increasing by one percent.
