TAYLORSVILLE, MS - Mississippi investigators are questioning someone about a family that mysteriously vanished nearly two weeks ago.

A state Highway Patrol spokesman says officials "are very hopeful" they will soon learn what happened to Michael and Rebecca Hargon and their 4-year-old son.  Rebecca Hargon is originally from the Poplar Bluff, Missouri area, and still has some family there, as well as relatives in Jonesboro.

Police officials say they are searching a veterinary clinic given as a residence address by an adopted cousin of the missing family.

The patrol spokesman says recent developments in the case have been "dramatic" and "groundbreaking."

Officials say they found blood and bullet casings in the home of the missing family.

A relative says investigators have been checking if property the missing father inherited from his uncle recently may be tied to the disappearance.

The relative says the uncle's adopted son, tied to the veterinarian clinic, was not included in the will.
