Accused stabber turns self in to police

FORREST CITY, AR (KAIT)-  A man accused of being in an altercation with another man months ago turned himself over to Forrest City Police.

According to police, Jeffery Bryan of Forrest City turned himself in to the department on Wednesday.

Police state Bryan is accused being in a physical altercation with James French on October 18 of last year.  During the fight French was cut on the arm and received medical treatment.

Bryan has been charged with battery in the second degree, a felony offense.  His bond was set at $10,000.  Bryan was also served with a warrant for domestic battery from St. Francis County.
