
JONESBORO (ASU) — The Arkansas State baseball team has added a fourth game to its upcoming weekend series against Evansville, which is scheduled to get underway Friday at Tomlinson Stadium and Kell Field.
Originally scheduled as a three-game series to be played Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the Red Wolves and Purple Aces will now play four games, with Saturday's schedule now being a doubleheader.
The weekend's action will get underway Friday, Feb. 24 at 6:00 p.m. Saturday's doubleheader will begin at 1:00 p.m., and the first pitch for Sunday's finale is scheduled to get underway at 1:00 p.m. as well.
The Red Wolves will host Murray State today at 3:00 p.m. in the 2012 home opener. The ASU-Murray State game begins a string of 10 consecutive home games for the Red Wolves. Following the ASU-Evansville series, A-State will host South Dakota State March 2-4 in a three-game weekend series, then host SIU-Edwardsville March 6-7.
