FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Matt Reynolds hit a two-run homer and Bo Bigham added a home run to help lead Arkansas to a 6-2 victory over Northwestern State.
The Razorbacks (5-0) were trailing 1-0 Wednesday when a four-run fourth inning featuring homers by Bigham and Reynolds put Arkansas ahead for good at 4-1.
Northwestern State (1-2) came within two in the sixth when Todd Wallace hit a home run, but the Demons' offense stalled. Arkansas added runs in the seventh and eighth innings.
Reynolds finished 2-for-4 and Bigham went 1-for-4. Wallace finished 1-for-3 and Nick Hinojos was 1-for-4 with an RBI.
Mark Reyes (1-0) picked up the win, allowing two hits and one run in one inning of relief. Andrew Adams (0-1) lost after allowing four hits and four runs in four innings.
