Man arrested after crashing car into hotel

EL DORADO, Ark. (AP) - Police in El Dorado have charged a man with multiple offenses for allegedly trying to drive his van through a motel room.

Authorities say 60-year-old Otis L. Walker of El Dorado was driving with a suspended license on Thursday when his vehicle hit the Pine Tree Motel at about 2 a.m.

A witness told police that Walker had stopped by her room to visit and became upset when he couldn't find his keys. The witness found the keys in the van, which she said made Walker angry.

The witness told police Walker tried to kick in her door, then hit the building with the vehicle.

The El Dorado News-Times reports (http://is.gd/0OuPFh ) Walker was charged with driving while intoxicated and numerous traffic offenses. It was unclear whether he had an attorney.
