TRUMANN, AR (KAIT) - Region 8 residents of Trumann were able to get their health checked out for free on Tuesday.
St. Bernards representatives were at Trumann High School to offer a number of different health screenings. Health screenings for blood, cholesterol and prostate were just some of the screenings available. A variety of health booths were also available to visit.
Health coordinator, Ami Henderson said they hold this fair every year not only to teach their students but to also help the public.
"There's a lot of people in Trumann who don't have the capabilities to travel outside of town to get health screenings," Henderson said. "This way they can come here and get them."
This is the sixth year for Trumann's Health Fair.
