JORDAN, Ark. (AP) - Authorities believe no foul play was involved in the death of a man found inside a Baxter County residence.
The Sheriff's office says deputies responded to an emergency call from three relatives who had found 54-year-old Randy Parnell dead at a residence in Jordan Friday night.
KAIT-TV (http://bit.ly/wxILCl) reports that during a preliminary investigation, investigators discovered the victim was last seen by a relative on Thursday about 11 a.m. Investigators say there may have been at least two other people at the residence at the time.
Investigators say because of the evidence and the victim's prior medical condition, no foul play is suspected.
However, Parnell's body is being sent to the Arkansas State Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy.
