Baxter Co. man arrested after burglarizing deceased man’s home

MOUNTAIN HOME, AR- Baxter County Sheriff's officials have arrested a man they sayburglarized another man's home who recently died in a motorcycle accident.

According to Sheriff John Montgomery, Eric Hall Guynes wasarrested Monday afternoon.  He is accusedof stealing from Joshua Allen Grace's home. Grace was killed in a motorcycle accident on March 2.

On March 7, officers say, Grace's family went to the homeand found items missing.  The itemsincluded an IPod with docking station and a Playstation 3.  A family member located the serial number onthe game console and gave it to the sheriff's office.

Investigators were able to use the number to find out theconsole had been pawned by Guynes on March 4.

Guynes is charged with felony residential burglary and theftof property.  Bond was set at $25,000 andhe will be back in court March 15.
