Commission to consider change name of Ark. airport

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Members of the Municipal Airport Commission will consider proposals to change the name of Little Rock National Airport, including one honoring former President Bill Clinton and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Airport public affairs director Shane Carter told KTHV-TV ( that the commission may vote on the possible changes at a meeting on Tuesday.

Airport officials say the new name could be the "Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport."

Bill Clinton served nearly 12 years as governor of Arkansas before being elected to two terms as president of the United States.
