Blytheville PD offer reward in murder investigation

BLYTHEVILLE, AR (KAIT) – Blytheville Police are offering a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction into the shooting death of a 65-year-old man.

According to Blytheville Police, a $1,000 reward is being for information into the shooting death of 65-year-old Raymond Warren. Warren was found lying on his front porch at 636 South Lake Street with an apparent gunshot wound, and was pronounced dead on the scene.

Police say they interviewed witnesses in the area, and they provided police with a suspect. Police have yet to release any information about that suspect.

Warren's body is being sent to the Arkansas State Medical Examiner's office for examination.

Police are asking anyone with information about this case to contact the Blytheville Police Criminal Investigation Division at 870-762-0400, or the C.O.P.S. Hotline at 870-762-2677.
