BLYTHEVILLE, AR (KAIT)-  A Mississippi County woman claimed big winnings Thursday from last Friday's Mega Millions drawing at the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Jonesboro Claim Center.

Paulette Hodges of Blytheville picked all five of the white ball numbers to win.  Normally the prize would have been $250,000, but Hodges chose to spend an extra dollar for the Megaplier upgrading her winnings to $1 million.

According to lottery officials, 39 people won money in the drawing.  However, Hodges and another person were the only ones that won the million.

Hodges told store clerks she plans to use part of her winnings to remodel her home and put the rest in the bank.

The lucky ticket was purchased at Flash Market 177, 1305 East Main Street in Blytheville.
