POCAHONTAS, AR (KAIT) – Police in Randolph County are reporting that a man was shot Sunday night.

According to Randolph County Sheriff Gary Tribble, deputies were dispatched at 8:00 to a home on Palestine Road in reference to a shooting.

Tribble says while officers were on the way, they found out that the victim had left by personal vehicle and was met by a Medic One ambulance which took the victim to Five Rivers Medical Center in Pocahontas.

Police say the victim was then taken by air to the Elvis Presley Trauma Center in Memphis where his condition is stable.
