Huckabee Announces Grant Money Links

MARCH 23, 2004 - Posted at 12:34 p.m. CDT

LITTLE ROCK, AR - Governor Huckabee today unveiled a trio of Internet locations that can help Arkansas track how much in grant money has been spent in the state's counties.  Residents can also find out how to apply for more grants.

The addresses are linked at the governor's home page, www.arkansas.gov/governor.

The state never before had a central location where residents could go to obtain information on state and federal grants that are available for programs.  The governor also pointed out links to faith-based organizations, that run job banks and food banks.
