COPY-Man accused of killing wife outside hair salon

CLAYTON, Mo. (AP) - A St. Louis-area man is facing charges of second-degree murder and armed criminal action in the death of his wife, a probation and parole officer for the state of Missouri.

Marion Lamont Arrington of O'Fallon, Ill., was charged Monday and is jailed on $250,000 cash-only bond. He does not yet have a listed attorney.

The shooting happened in St. Louis County. Police say Arrington shot 33-year-old Jamie Fields-Arrington in a parking lot near a beauty salon on Saturday. She walked into the shop and collapsed on the floor. She later died at a hospital.
