Former Senator Pryor to Speak at West Memphis College

WEST MEMPHIS, AR - Longtime Arkansas public servant David Pryor will be the featured speaker at the Mid-South Community College President's Reception honoring Goldsby Scholarship recipients.

The invitation-only event, scheduled for 6:30 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday), will honor area high school students who earned Thomas B. Goldsby, Jr. scholarships for the 2003-2004 year.

"It is indeed an honor for Mid-South Community College to have Senator Pryor as the guest speaker for this special event," said Dr. Glen Fenter, MSCC President.  "Senator Pryor's record of public service to Arkansas is long and distinguished, and we look forward to his participation in our recognition ceremony."

Former Senator Kaneaster Hodges of Newport will also be a special guest at the event.
