Arkansas man arrested in death of his brother

TUCKER, AR (AP) - A man has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of his brother in Tucker.

Jefferson County Sheriff's deputies called to a residence along Arkansas Highway 15 found 22-year-old Nicholas Reed dead inside his home early Saturday. Officials say he had been shot in the chest.

According to a sheriff's report, Reed and his brother, Ryan Reed, had been fighting when Nicholas Reed was shot.

A jailer said Ryan Reed remained in custody at the Jefferson County jail but he didn't know if Reed had retained an attorney to represent him.
