WHITE COUNTY, AR (KAIT) – A man charged with negligent homicide is behind bars after U.S. Marshals captured him.
According to Corporal Steve Hernandez with the White County Sheriff's Department, Shelby Glenn Taylor was taken into custody by the United States Marshal's Office Thursday. The sheriff's department asked the marshal's office for assistance after searching for Taylor for several weeks.
Officers searched for Taylor on warrants for negligent homicide and failure to appear for sentencing on that charge.
Officer Hernandez states Taylor was originally charged for killing a 16-year-old after crossing the center line while driving. He is being held without bond.
Taylor will appear in court May 2.
