LITTLE ROCK, AR - Nor far from where former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein gassed and killed 5,000 people, an Arkansas State University student helped open a northern Iraq university.

Jordan D. Hall, a graduate student in history, was one of five Americans to volunteer for a trip with a releif group called the Millenium Development Services.

He said he went on the trip to see the war first-hand.

His impressions of the Iraqi people were positive and he said all the Iraqis he spoke with talked about how they loved the United States.

He said bombings and shootings were usually done by radicals in a few cities.
