Concerned neighbor helps in burglary arrests

FORREST CITY, AR (KAIT) - The actions of a concerned neighbor in St. Francis County helps police make two arrests.

According to the Forrest City Police Department, a person called police Monday and reported two people burglarizing a house on Wilson Street.  Police arrested a 16 and 17-year-old near the home.  Police say the person who notified officers made a positive identification of the two persons they saw "hanging out of the window of the house."

Investigators indicate the two suspects had some of the item in the house ready to take.

Both of the suspects, according to police, have been arrested for burglary before and are charged as adults in this case.  They are in the St. Francis County Jail awaiting arraignment May 3.
