CARUTHERSVILLE, MO (KAIT) – The second escapee sought by Caruthersville Police, has turned himself in.

According to a news release by police, Rakeem Sanders went to the Pemiscot County Sheriff's Office and turned himself in without incident Saturday around 1:15 p.m.

Caruthersville City Marshal Tony Jones says the other escapee Larry D. McIntyre, 21, of Caruthersville, was taken back into custody at an earlier date. His family members told police he wanted to turn himself in and arranged for a place and time for police to pick him up.

The two inmates escaped Thursday after appearing in municipal court for non-violent charges.
