PARAGOULD, AR - Country music legend Eddy Arnold and Lightyear recording artist Dan Seals will headline an evening of music and entertainment at Arkansas State University's Fowler Center on June 4.  Dubbed the first-ever "Eddy Arnold Evening for Children," the event will benefit the Paragould-based Children's Homes, Inc.

Joining Arnold and Seals will be Nashville-based entertainers and songwriters with Region 8 roots, Johnny Tolley of Blytheville and Jonesboro native and songwriter Jim Brown.

Arnold is probably best known for his hits like "Cattle Call" and "Make the World Go Away."  Seals' hits include "Meet Me in Montana," a duet with Marie Osmond, and "One Friend."  In the mid to late 1980s, Seals had a string of nine consecutive #1 songs on the country music charts.  Jim Brown has toured and recorded with Marie Osmond, and also written songs for several country artists, including a #1 hit for Alan Jackson.

Tickets for the event are now on sale at the ASU box office at a price of $30.
