Former ASU guard Adam Sterrenberg transfers to Harding for senior season

SEARCY (Harding) – Adam Sterrenberg, a 6-3, 190-pound guard from Cabot, Ark., will transfer to Harding from Arkansas State University. He will join the Harding basketball team for the 2012-13 season and have one season of eligibility remaining.
Sterrenberg played in 79 games in three seasons at Arkansas State. As a junior, he played in 28 games with two starts and averaged 12.8 minutes. Twelve of his 29 field goals for the Red Wolves were 3-pointers, and he shot 69.6 percent from the free throw line.
Sterrenberg was three-time All-State at Cabot High School and led Cabot to a share of the 7A Central conference championship as a senior. That season, he averaged 22.9 points, 5.0 assists, 3.4 rebounds and 2.3 steals while shooting 43 percent from 3-point range.
