TRUMANN, AR (KAIT) – Trumann Police has identified the man found dead behind a shed Tuesday afternoon as Dale Riley.
According to Trumann Police Chief Chad Henson, 58-year-old Riley was found dead behind a shed on Ozark Avenue North Wednesday. Police believe he's been homeless for the past 2 months.
Chief Henson tells Region 8 News, it appears the man died of natural causes, but says the medical examiner told them it could take 6-8 weeks before the toxicology report would be final.
Henson did say the death was not considered foul play.
The body was found behind a shed at 412 Ozark Avenue North by city workers around 3p Tuesday. Police say the body was decomposed and appears it may have been there about a month.
