FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (ArkansasRazorbacks.com) – The first piece of the 2012-13 University of Arkansas men's basketball schedule was released on Wednesday with the announcement of the 2012 Continental Tire Las Vegas Invitational field. The Razorbacks are one of four teams who will play at Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, Nev., Nov. 23-24. Along with Arkansas, Creighton, Arizona State and Wisconsin have been tabbed for this year's event.
The 2012 Las Vegas Invitational is the 12th year for the event and the seventh that games will be held at Orleans Arena. The Razorbacks will be playing in Las Vegas, Nev., for just the second time in school history with the previous outing coming in December of 1989 when the 11th-ranked Razorbacks fell to hometown and 12th-ranked UNLV, 101-93.

The Razorbacks are 1-1 against Creighton and 1-0 against Arizona State all-time and have never played against Wisconsin in men's basketball.
In the 2011 Las Vegas Invitational, the home team, UNLV, won the event title with a victory over North Carolina. Southern California defeated South Carolina in the third-place match.
