Vehicle and skeletal remains found in White County

CLEBURNE COUNTY, AR (KAIT)  - Authorities in Cleburne County have found the vehicle of a 63-year-old man who went missing in May, along with skeletal remains.

According to the sheriff's office, someone reported the seeing the truck of James Ellworth Rainerson Wednesday afternoon in a rural wooded area around Hart Road in White County.    

The truck is confirmed to be Rainerson's.

Human skeletal remains were also found by police.  No positive identification has yet to be made on the remains.  

Officers with the Cleburne County Sheriff's Office, White County Sheriff's Department and Arkansas State Police are processing the scene. 

The sheriff's office says Rainerson was reported missing May 15.  He was last seen on the afternoon of May 12 driving a black, 2008 Ford F-150XLT with a camper shell.
