NEWARK, NJ (Newark Star-Ledger) - The Jets have signed third-round pick Demario Davis to a four-year deal, according to a person with knowledge of the agreement. That person requested anonymity because the team has not yet announced the transaction.
Terms of the deal were not immediately available.
Davis, an inside linebacker, was selected No. 77 overall out of Arkansas State. Coach Rex Ryan said some of Davis' leadership attributes remind him of Ravens great Ray Lewis.
